Terms and Conditions

1.   Course fees are as indicated on the relevant web-page.

2.   A booking is only accepted when a completed booking is received with either a £40:00 non refundable deposit or, if booking within 4 weeks of the start of the course, the full fee payable.

3.   Courses must be fully paid for 2 weeks prior to the start of the course, or Cadana Outdoors will assume cancellation and re-sell the course place(s).

4.   Should a course participant cancel within 2 weeks of the start of the course, and Cadana Outdoors is unable to fill the resultant place, no monies will be refunded.

5.   Course fees are exempt from VAT.

6.   In the unlikely event of a course being cancelled by Cadana Outdoors due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be informed immediately and offered either a place on a later course or a full refund of course fees paid. Cadana Outdoors will not be liable for any other expenses.

 

Health and Safety

7.   Participants should be aware that the all courses will involve walking for some miles over rough and sometimes steep and mountainous terrain. Additionally they should be prepared to accept varying and sometimes difficult weather conditions. By accepting these terms and conditions participants are indicating their fitness to take part in their chosen course, and that they will be suitably equipped to deal with both the terrain and the weather. Cadana Outdoors will offer advice on suitable equipment.

8.   Cadana Outdoors reserve the right to refuse participation to clients who they believe to be under the influence of drink or drugs. In such circumstances no refund will be offered.

9.   Whilst the safety of all participants is of paramount importance, and the highest possible professional standards are practised, participants must be aware that outdoor activities involve an element of risk. For the safety of all, it is vital that at all times the instructions and decisions of our instructors be followed at all times.

10   In confidence please inform Cadana Outdoors of any disability or known medical condition including medication, prior to starting the course.

11.  Clients for winter courses must be in possession of suitable boots, crampons, and clothing. A suitable ice axe may be borrowed from the course instructor. It is recommended that advice is sought from Cadana Outdoors prior to booking a course.

12.   Although fully insured for public liability, our insurance does not cover you for inherent risks or the negligence of other participants. It is recommended that participants are cover by some form of travel and personal insurance such as that offered by the BMC.

    13.  Persons under the age of 18 will not normally be accepted on Cadana Outdoors courses without prior agreement. Please ring to enquire before sending any form of booking.
